The Irving Branch NAACP request your support in providing a leadership financial donation to the NAACP’s education initiative for youth programming. Donations and spon-sorships will be used to assist with the expenses for planned tutoring, mentoring and preparing for TAKS testing programs for at-risk children. These expenses include funds that are required for an education vendor to augment the work of volunteers, computer hardware and software and materials. The Irving Branch NAACP’s mission is “to assist minorities in achieving economic and social parity and to improve our quality of life.” A total Irving focus with support is required if a “Community Assault” is to be counted on to save our communities and produce victory for Irving.

We definitely need more volunteer troops to come forward and fight this battle. But just as important as building our troops, we need to gain the focus and support from the Greater Irving, Carrollton and Farmers Branch communities.
